Caller: Free Solar Installation

Indian call centre. "Free" installation of solar panels. Scammers. Waste their time but don't tell them anything.

No message was left, I'm pretty sure they'll call again. But why do we bother putting our numbers on the "do not call register", when these type of calls are dime a dozen.

I have started to get these junk calls after changing gas supplier from Lumo.

Calls everyday and never leaves a message.

Caller: Scammer

The usual scumbag that gets away with calling a # on the DNCR because they're supported by our equally scumbagulous gov't.

Caller: Star Solar

This number called me today @ 6.20pm and greeted me by name. I didn't catch his name but understand the company is 'Star Solar'. I told him to jog on, hung up and blocked the number on my mobile.

‭(03) 9034 5180‬ A fast dial and hang up by them. Glad I read these sites as straight to block caller.

Caller: I don't know

Blocked the call. Was silent when I picked up

Caller: some telemarketer for solar

I now make appointments with these clowns, and when there representative turns up I tell them your`ve got the wrong person, waist my time and I will waste yours ha ha

They refused to leave a message on the answering machine. I saw this number come up and wanted to screen it. Obviously a scammer.

These calls can be made outside of the do not call register, as they are selling items/services with the State government approval. Any thing to do with either State or Federal government, will over rule the do not call register.

Indian accent, Something about Solar panels. I asked him if he had heard of the Do Not Call Register and he said where do you think I got your number from?.

Caller: Numurkah

(03) 9034 5180. Have been getting calls from these twits for weeks. Never answer it cause its always the same crap. Checking on my solar or wanting to give me solar or better my current rate. waste of time.

Caller: Scammer or Telemarketer

Either a scammer or telemarketer using a carrier number. Call is from overseas, possibly India, as I can hear a huge delay before they start speak. Block the number and save yourself the effort. My phone flagged the call as "Potential Fraud" when they were calling me.

Very unnerving they knew my name and the street I live in

They called today Tuesday 15th October 2019 at 18:21.. was eating dinner so didn't answer and no message was left on my VM. Thanks to those that have posted, I now know its spam.. Funnily enough I've been looking into getting some solar quotes, Id be interested to know if the call was fluke or my number was passed on from an installer who might have been hacked.. Dunno

Called 17:55 15/10/2019. Somebody from the subcontinent. Asked for me by my surname. I ask "Who?" He relied he wanted to speak to the householder and gave my address. (Victoria). I told him I was in Western Australia. He apologized for ringing me and rang off!

Guy (Indian accent) saying he is not selling but just checking on my solar panel. When I said I don't have solar, he then offered solar. 😐

Answered call. Nothing for about 5 seconds, then a recorded female message saying "Goodbye".
