Stupid automated phone notification from (03) 9033 0233 saying I owed $170 or risk disconnection - despite knowing full well that my balance is $0.00.
Optus have confirmed that its NOT the number for Optus Financial Services - I've since blocked the number. I've also notified Optus of the number in their customer feedback, the schmucks to are responsible for the scam number are not doing Optus any favours - hopefully they investigate it - too many people actually believe that this its Optus customer service at its worst.

Non stop calls, but it hangs up when I pick it up. Optus claims not to know who it is, and strangely when I block it, it still gets through.

Yeh it's Optus. Automated call to say bill overdue. I seem to get these even when it's not overdue.Pisses me off when they do it after 8 pm when the kids are in bed.

Optus billing calling about an unpaid bill. Don't leave any messages but then send an SMS stating what date your phone will be cut off (3 days)

Got an optus bill for a mobile with a $17 cap for $320.
I inquire and they tell me that I rang (03) 9033 0233 for 6 hours.
I try to ring the number to see who it is and all I get is beeps. I google the number and get this page.
I look at my logs and see I got an SMS re an overdue $50 account from that number the day before they said I rang it for 6 hours. I have no call to that number or any other number on the day they said I rang it for 6 hours. (I only make about 30 calls a month).
This just looks like plain stealing to me and I'm pretty angry about it.
