Tax department scam artist

this number (03) 9028 8745 called me a few times before, no idea who it was

I had a call yesterday. Dodgy

scam. do not answer and do not call back

Scam! Left a voicemail to immediately call back and if I don’t that they will issue a warrant for my arrest. Tried phoning back but no answer

Voice message threatens you will be served an arrest warrant if u don’t contact this number.

Left a recorded message (sounded american) - saying there was a law suit being filed against my name and that if i didnt contact him straight away he would put out an arrest warrant and i would be arrested.

Definitely a scam.

Computer generated voicemail left saying a warrant out for my arrest and to return the call.

This number left me a voicemail that was missing the first part of the message but it was clearly a scam! An automated message wanting me to call them back otherwise they would issue an arrest warrant for me. Such rubbish!

Caller: A man with an American accent from the ATO!

Caller had an American accent and was calling from the Australian Taxation Office regarding their legal case against me. He wanted me to call him back on a secured line to discuss my options.

I have now blocked this number.

Seems like another scam call

A computer generated voice left a voicemail on my mobile stating that a lawsuit had been issued in my name. If I didn't call them back immediately, then I would be arrested.

Believed to be a scam.

computerised voice recording saying (the first few words are cut off) 'something' .... is being recorded in my name and that I must call back immediately or I will "get" arrested (bad english always a giveaway that this is a scam).

tried to call the no back from a privately listed phone and there was no answer, rang out.

Someone claiming to be from the tax department, if I don't ring I'll be arrested.
