What can they possibly get out of it? Why keep ringing and then not speak.. I don't understand, but they are really annoying. Why can't Telstra or someone work out who they are?

Annoying time wasters - but I do enjoy wasting their time back. I interrupt them with questions about the weather, holiday ideas etc. Its fun to hear them trying to get back on track before eventually giving up. If I can keep them on the phone, then they're losing precious time trying to scam someone else.

They called me 6 times in 3 days!!! But they don't leave a message if it goes to message bank. Thanks to this site, I know to ignore them and I won't be calling back!

Got phone calls a few times knew it was a scam in the end told them that if they ring again I have their number and would report them to the Australian Federal Police haven't had a call since

I have had multiple calls the last couple of days from this lot. Solar panel rebate..SCAM. Telstra saying they are disconnecting connection due to technical issues SCAM. And today asking me how much i spend on my phone saying they were from Smartphone SCAM. Told them nothing. .they wouldn't hang up and get off the line and he got very nasty. When are they going to get it we are onto them!!

Have had calls daily, and multiple calls a day from this mob. I jist dont get it, that we have to put up with this sort of behaviour in 2015, with such advanced communication systems, why cant we stop them calling our phone? It is an invasion of privacy. Someone cant come into your house without permission, wtf are phone calls coming in - by the dozens every month. I say weve all had more than enough of these vultures and all get private numbers. That will sort them. In fact that is what im going to do!

These people keep calling non stop... and get more aggressive and smartarse-ish with each call...
It happens virtually every week and this is just not good enough!!!!!!
I wouldn't want anyone to loose their jobs but these people are playing games thinking they're protected by their overseas anonymity...
There has to be a way of tracking them down...there has to be... i'm sure they're employed by a company that pays them bugger all and expects them to fill some kind of quota... that's the one we need to find and stop from doing this... for harrassment and invasion of privacy...

Claims he was from Southern Phone Company. There official contact number (02) 4474 7100 Moruya NSW http://www.southernphone.com.au/
If enough people contact them and complain about the scam phone calls, they will have to something about it.

Had a call from this number today - they dialled my work number. The lady had a stab at my name and got it wrong, and then went on to say the call was about my Telstra bill.
I told her that she must have the wrong number as my name wasn't who she was mentioning. She then went on to say that it doesn't matter about my name and she needed to discuss my bill.
Safe to say the call ended right there!

They called me twice today: the first time, they disconnected immediately; and the second time a male call-centre operator claimed he wanted to discuss my Telstra phone account - at which point, I thanked him for his concern and terminated the call... I don't have a Telstra account.

had called 3 times today and didnt say anything and hung up on me. finally 4th time a man with indian accent telling me he his from smart phone company, i asked him not to call again and he taunted me, I'm going to call you repeatedly. He called again and I have been able to block this number from my phone.

just received a call - they said they were giving me a 25% discount on my telephone bill due to a regulation passed by the Australian government. I told him that was not true the government would not do anything like that and if he thought I was going to give him bank or personal details he was CRAZY!!!!! and hung up

Had three calls yesterday which I missed. Finally spoke to a foreign female and she said that she was a Telstra reseller. She tried to get me on to some better phone and internet plan...I said I would have to think about it and the hung up.

Just had this number ring twice in last hour. As my phone speaks to us as to who it is or numbers if not saved into our phone... OVERSEAS was stated so I didn't pick up (been there before) and wont if its an overseas number. I checked this site and hello everyone no one here has a good report on this number. Won't be answering it ever, thanks.

This number keeps calling but then hanging up when I answer. They should keep doing that now as they don't want to hear from me if they stay on the line after wasting my time and effort so often!!

Just had a call from them also said they were from smartphone sounded like they were standing out in the wind. Said from now on I'd be getting a 30% discount on my home phone. He transferred me to 'Rachael' who asked if I'd had my current bundle for more than 2 years, (because i had said my home phone & internet were one payment) when i said no, she said thanks for your time & hung up..I've been on the do not call register for ages, but still get all these calls.. over it!

I've had this number call and hang up constantly over the last few days, a guy with a thick accent final spoke tonight. He said he was from Telstra and that I would be receiving discounts, he also wanted to know how much my bills were. He finally admitted that he wasn't from Telstra just a communication reseller, when I said I wasn't interested he let loose with the foul language. The scary thing is he seemed to know all my details.
