Caller: Brad As per above messages. Brad stated required $2 as a tax for o/s transaction, said do not take Paypal, asked for credit card. Thinking bona fide company i obliged. Short time later tried to use credit card at shops and declined at 2 places. When back home rang bank, was advised the card had been used 2-3 times in quick succession for purchases outside my normal area and they closed the card off. During conversation, required access to my PC to update AdobeAcrobat and activet the new license number. Later found no downlaod or update happened and next morning computer would not boot up, it's now in for cleaning. Guy rang back yesterday as follow up and when challenged about being a scam he insisted it is all legitimate from Adobe. Adobe have no record of any purchase at all, the letter claimed I purchased on 24/06/2020. Reported to Scamwatch and had valuable advice back from IDCARE.
