Our company's showroom receives calls from this number every day also. - They are incredibly rude and abusive, demanding to speak to the owner of the phone...
I just called the 1300 779 894 number listed below and vented my frustration. - I was given an apology and advised that our number would be removed...

offering NBN...... but we already have it.
have had 2 other calls today from private numbers, not sure it was the same ppl though.

They are freaking relentless.

I may have just spoken to the same guy, I agree, he was very nice and apologetic! He added our office number to the do not call list and all is sorted :)

call center, sucking people into a phone service scam, reading off a script (i managed to get the woman to say the exact same introduction, word for word, 3 times. don't bother trying to tell them you are not interested, just hang up!

I have blocked this number but they still keep calling me on Skype (16 calls today!). Yesterday I made the mistake of answering my landline and when they said they were from Telstra I told them to stop making the stupid calls. Obviously didn't work!

I have just called 1300 779 894 to be removed from their calling list. Hope it works!

Relentless and annoying telemarketers

Update: The daily calling has stopped but I am still receiving the same call once every couple of days.

They either hang up in your ear as soon as you answer. (No doubt to establish that it is a "live" number & they call back at dinner OR they pretend to be from Telstra. When I ask for a direct answer from them - when I ask are they actually from Telstra - yes or no, then they hang up in my ear.

I called the 1300 number after receiving several hang up calls. Its very annoying when you are trying to serve customers and are continuosly interrupted with these un wanted calls. Any way he took my number off the data base as far as i know, time will tell!!

Call business place several times in a row, but disconnect right after saying hello. Is extremely annoying, and wasting our precious time!!!!

There are over 1 billion Indians living in India. The calls are made by satellite from India via a Melb hub (hence the delay in them answering when you say hello) and the noise you can here in the background is the 750 million employees they have paid to harass us everyday. There's is absolutely no point in asking them not to call, Your number is dialled by a computer and any one of the 750 million employees will be connected if you answer "hello" or 'Hi"

They are definitely not from Telstra Business, as they rang my office couple of times too, and i work for Telstra Business! Haha. The shock they produced when they noticed them calling an actual Telstra store is epic.

We receive numerous calls daily at our business from this number; they immediately hang up. Today I tried to call them back; all I get is a beep. Very annoying. If they claim to be from Telstra ask for their ID number and call them back - I can assure you they will hang u[.

Called asking for details of the business. Said they were Perth CID (police). Then gave some very confusing story. I didn't give any info & they hung up.
