This number is coming up in a number of sms pretending they are QBE insurance claiming a number of payments owing to them. Other times come up as urgent matter to discuss to call them. Or pretending are CBA and have an outstanding matter. Never banked with CBA. The use NMPtyLtd as their name.

I received an email describing exactly above - pay an overdue amount on behalf of “x” - in my case, Maxxia novated leasing. Makes no sense because my account closed fully reconciled 18 months ago. Scam.

Have been receiving text messages saying to call this number and that they are working on behalf of QBE insurance and EBM Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd. They claim they would like to help me resolve an outstanding amount, however i had cancelled my policy with QBE for about 2 years now. Called up QBE just to make sure (in case the number in the message redirected me to a number that might compromise my phone details), and QBE said that they cant see any outstanding amounts. They also never send text messages, only emails. Be careful!
