Just got a call from this company, Indian guy saying his name was Max.  I told him that I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST and would report him....$10,000.  He said that I had a problem with my PC.  I don't have a PC, I have a MAC.  What a scam artist!  Hope they get busted.

Hi all,Like others I have read, we received a call from an Indian speaking guy calling himself a most unlikely Harry Jones (or similar) stating that he was from Xion Technologies part of Microsoft (he couldn't even pronounce technologies right) saying that they have picked up a problem with my computer due to malware and virus issues.I am always suspicious of any cold calls like this so I asked lots of questions about the company name, their address which he gave as 566 St Kilda Road Melbourne and phone number (03) 9018 6638.Thinking this was a scam I continued to ask the guy questions such as how would you know if I had a computer and if I did how would you know if there was a problem?His answers were feeble and lacked sincerity and when I pressed him for details he hung up on me.I searched for the Xion Technologies but could not find them listed and only found this site with so many stories like mine and a few where the scumbags managed to con some poor unsuspecting bidy.These people are scamers and not connected with Microsoft in any way. Ask lots of questions and get their contact details and pass them on to the police immediately.Concerned NSW

thank you. I just got a call from, I believe, the same group of Indian guys and with all of my questioning they hung up on me. unfortunately, along with the outsourcing we are now graced with the scammers. I will certainly pass this information to my friends and family.
