I also received this email in poorly wording English asking me to call this number to cancel an eBay transaction. I received it on 28 September like everyone else but I don't regularly check my junk folder where it went. Didn't call. Obviously a scam. Not least because I do not have an eBay account.

Caller: email allegedly from eBay Exactly the same here - email from eBay stating there was suspected fraudulent billing of my account for $449.00 for AVAST protection. I had not made this transaction. I phoned the number 3 times and there was no answer, then searched for the number. Thanks so much for all your posts.
