Caller: Scammers Yep, same as everyone else has stated, I received a scam e-mail falsely claiming to be from eBay which requested I call this number.
Avoid and do not call!

thank you and yes I received the same email and tried to call the number but no-one answers. I don't even have an EBAY account however they may have obtained my email address from the latest Optus scam

Dear Customer, Your account have been charged for $449 towards the payment for AVAST Security, We've reason to believe that your eBay account has been fraudulently used therefore we have put this transaction on hold. Next we are sending you this email to confirm the purchase, in case you have done the transaction you need not do anything and the charge will appear on your account within the next 48 to 72 hours, if you haven't done the transaction please call us right away on the EBAY Customer Support :- :-. (03) 9017 0198

This is a scam. Ignore the email

Caller: Ebayeom_Support Received an email from terrafrias6 @ gmail.com pretending to be from E-Bay (see fake ID above) about a suspicious transaction for $449 for AVAST security. This is a scam email, do not call the number. Pls note that the email address is Spanish for "cold earth" which should be a warning!
