I agree with Keith. Spot the scammers in this thread... looking at you "graham william johns" and "Richard" clearly your English is so poor and the BS so thick, you use the exact same phrase ""I am enjoying the service" Really? who ever uses that phrase in relation to computers?

Got a phone call from this number this morning. Said they were ringing from MY COMPUTER (erm wow, my computer can use a telephone now can it)? When I asked which firm they were ringing from they kept saying "From your computer" and I said "No, I asked which firm you were ringing from". "About your computer"? Next time I asked "Which firm/company do you work for" they put the phone down! Hilarious also that the "gentleman" with an Indian accent called himself John Smith (as if!) and asked for Mrs (surname). I haven't been a MRS for 43 years and have always been MISS. Now go away!

I have had 3 calls in the last 3 days purporting to be Windows Support which I know to be a scam. When I questioned the lady she was adamant that it was not so I just hanged up. I am sick and tired of them

Total scam. They called me about 6 times last year claiming to be from Microsoft and offering to help clear viruses they had detected off my PC. This seemed rather odd as I only have a Mac, and when I pointed this out they hung up.

I have had a number of these calls too. The one tonight (who couldn't even properly identify who he was supposed to be representing!) was an almost unintelligible Indian gentleman sporting the unlikely name of Mac Taylor (anyone else watch CSI New York????). He was fast with the double talk when I asked him to give me the serial number of the machine in question, and even faster when I asked him to send an email outlining the supposed problem. Have some fun with them when they ring. It's what a con man deserves. This one's contact number was (03) 9008 4298. If he was genuine, Windows should look to their training to avoid their staff looking like con men.

21/06/2012 I have just received a call from an Asian speaking person, called John Miller? He said he was from Windows Service Centre, Melbourne, telephone No (03) 0998 4255 and that my computer was corrupt. I hung up and feel this is a scam.
