Recorded message advising my Amazon account would be charged $230.00, then I hung up

Caller: Amazon (apparently)

Advised my Amazon account would be charged over $200 for a google play gift card & to press any key too continue. I don’t think I have an Amazon account. The customer service person asked me for my full name to look up any account-didn’t ask me how to spell it. when I asked if they were in Australia, they told me they were in Sydney yet it was a Melbourne number then said if I want to fill out a cancellation form to stop the purchase, they had to connect my mobile phone to the Amazon server through them. I requested the form be emailed but they couldn’t do it. I advised if I was charged I would go through office of fair trading or consumer affairs & ended the call.

Robot message saying I had committed tax fraud and a warrant out for my arrest. Press 1 to cancel my warrant.

recorded message saying $249 approx. would be deducted from my account.could click 1 to find out more. naturally did not do this
