Thanks for this site so as to highlight the concerns real people are facing daily from these types of phone calls. There must be answer. I received a call and as i was expecting an important call answered. Fortunately i was not faced with the above concerns as they hung up... Onto the Naughty List...No presents for you.

Caller: Tax scammer

You missed a call from +1387472312, who said "Filed a case under your name for tax fraud. Your warrant is up for arrest. If you want to cancel your warrant. Call us on (03) 9015 9849." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you.

original call was from overseas number

A final warning? An accented voice that left just those words in a 2 second message. Clearly an automated call and pre-recorded message.

Caller: Claim to be Tax Fraud

Automated message on answering saying that my tax id had been suspended and a warrant issued for my arrest. Call this number to fix the problem
