Received a robot call on my mobile purporting to be the ATO and I have a law suit pending...I hung up and reported the call to the ATO who confirmed it was a scam

ATO Scam

I called back several times. Someone answered, as soon as I said "Hello I recieved a missed call from you guys" He hung up straight away.. Still tryin g to get through as they say they are from the ATO.

Clearly a hoax stating they will arrest me if I don’t call them back

Voice mail, robotic message says there is a law suit under my name and if I do not respond a warrant will be issue for my arrest

Hey guys, don't worry, it's a scam. I reported it to the ATO, do NOT give these people your information. This is not even a business number and if it was from the ATO it would be a blocked number. This is fake, they can't send the police to get you, I hope none of you fall for this.

Do not interact with them or call them back. If you're concerned, you can call the ATO and make sure but this isn't real.

These scam artists use a automated voice call saying they are from the Australia Tax Office, but they are a scam and highly abusive when you call them on their scam.
