person saying from ATO, when i call-back no response. Possible doggy marketing people

Ingot a Call too, rang the ATO and told them they took a lot of details and assured me it wasn’t from the ATO, they have passed my info on to the intelligence team that works against scams

Recorded message claiming to be from ATO. Said something about audit and legal action. I hung-up. SCAM !

The message I received was the same as above, informing me that is the ATO and that legal action will be taken if I do not call back the number.

Just had the same call. Don't forget to block this caller on your phone. That way you won't be troubled by another call from that number. They will try another number but we'll wear them out eventually

Phone call received today with the exact same scenario as previous complaint.

Caller: Robot

Robot states it is from the Australian Taxation Office, I then hung up. I assume it is a scam as I had never given my number to the Australian Taxation Office. I recommend hanging up as it is a scam.
