Computer voice generated message left that was hard to understand. Something about a law suit.

It's a scam ... people have been warned about these time and time again, yet still manage to fall for them. Do not call them back, do not engage.

Caller: Claiming to be Tax Office related An automated voicemail with an American accent alleging that I am under investigation. I have a tax agent looking after my affairs so this is utterly rubbish.
Upon calling them, someone with an Indian accent (so it appear to be a call center) and telling them nicely that I don't believe they have made a genuine case, the operator was being quite rude and hand up on me instead of trying to explain the situation.

Scam: Robotic voice saying there's a warrant for my arrest.
Also received a phising text message earlier today from 'St George Bank' (whom I don't have a credit card with) telling me to urgently click a link to update my personal details (a link to install malware).

Caller: (03) 9015 4806 Yes I know, it's laughable. But this does scare people in our largely aging population. The media does its very best to warn but the truth is for these c*nts is that just one call out a 100 will produce a bite. The things you read when you don't have gun.
