A recorded male voice claiming he was calling from ATO and there has been a lawsuit against me and I need to return the call. Didn’t make sense. When I called back from my mobile the number appeared to be invalid. Definitely a scam!

Robot voice claiming I´ve committed fraud to the country and if i didn't want them to come and arrest me I had to call back them back. When I called an Indian guy picked up the phone saying the ATO have conducted a random audit and they found a fraud on my profile and they were coming to my house to arrest me in 30 min.

Received an automated voice mail saying that a law suit had been filed against me by the ATO.
Called the ATO and raised a complaint so they are aware if the scam.
They said they would never use an automated system to leave a message, would only ever be letter or in person.

Received message saying a lawsuit in my name was being sent - I hung up immediately. Scam!

I had the same thing today from the same number. Have reported it to Scam Watch.

Indian guy answered the phone claiming to be ATO, called off unknown and asked for my name. Said if the ATO wanted to get in touch they would send me a letter! Put phone down.

Robot claiming there is a law suit against me and they will arrest me if i don't get back to them on department 3. I have got this call for two days now and i never tried to call back. Going to report to 000.

called them back and asked then not to call this number, indian operator was arguing with me all the way! what a joke!

Robot voice saying unless I called back an arrest warrant would be put out on me. I was happy to call back and as soon as I challenged them wanting their details, they hung up.
