My wife missed a call today from the same number, and had a computer voicemail, saying she was going to be arrested. She was extremely scared and she'd never had anything like it. However there is no answer when I ring it now.

Received a call on mobile phone with Victorian phone number ID. My habit is to ignore interstate calls if number is unfamiliar. A message was left on my answering service. This was in a computer voice saying that I should urgently return the call to avoid an arrest warrant. I checked number on reverseaustralia and saw a comment about these people threatening an ATO law suit. Obviously a lousy scammer. Don't answer, or hang up on these people until they give up these annoying calls.

Didn't answer the call and a voicemail was left. Computer generated voice saying that there was a law suit against me and a warrant will be issued for my arrest if I don't return the call immediately

I just received the same thing but went to voice mail. The voice mail said that there was a law suit against me and I had to call the same number. Obviously a scam so do not call back! They wouldn't call you like that.
