recieved a call from them today and also in the past, saying they are calling from south melbourne,and are working on the phone line when i ask for what company they hang up.

Had 3 calls from this number (03) 9014 7783 offering discount home phone deals, says they are the discount provider from Telstra. Every time they get to the part where they ask from my first name, I ask why they need it and that is when they disconnect. Their behaviour alone suggests it must be suspect.

they called me yesterday while i was out at work but the number was displayed on my caller id. i'm so sick and tired of all the crappy telemarketers. i wish they'd just get lost. i'm also on the do not call register so why do they keep calling?

Got a call from this number today. Said she was "Jane Williams" from Complete Telecom in South Melbourne offering me a discounted rate on my phone bill. She said because I had been a loyal Telstra customer for so long and always paid my bills and GST(wtf?!?) on time, they were offing to cap my calls at $59/month. I was suspicious because I don't pay my bills on time and I'm not with Telstra and never have been, but I played along until she started asking for details of my phone bill, she said she had my bills there but she just wanted to confirm the details because mobile and std calls are very expensive. When I questioned this she just hung up. They sound very dodgy, say they are the "legal authorised discount providers for Telstra" She had a strong indian accent and when I googled the company even their website has spelling and grammatical mistakes. Don't be sucked in to their scams

I am getting calls from (03) 9014 7783 Momentum Energy with Indian call centers. I have asked them EVERY time to put me on their do not call list. I logged on to their website and put in a request to have them stop. It did not.
I finally called the company and spoke to Sonia. She said she would put me on her do not call list.

If you get a call from Momentum Energy from this number, call Sonia and tell her how much you like hearing from Momentum Energy.

I got a call from this number to my landline phone this morning and my answering machine answered it. When I picked my handpiece up the call was still connected but no-one was on other end. The call stayed connected which meant I couldn't dial out or receive any other phone calls. I had to ring my phone supplier from my  mobile and get call disconnected. They rang back in afternoon as I had listed them under my caller Id so i knew it was the same number. They said they were offering free shower heads as part of an energy effieciency program. I told them to go jump!!

i am also receiving calls from this number and no persons speaks
when i call back the line is engagd or rings out
this number needs to be blocked out by the phone company or maybe it is them

I got a call from this number when I picked the phone up they hung the  idiots talk about scam these people need shooting I checked the number out on GoogleKind RegardsJWC.....

Two calls from this number today, several hours apart, only silence when I answered. Then a third - call centre ambience then finally that ridiculous and offensive "How are you today?" before the caller introduces herself. Turns out it is Momentum Energy - I advised caller in the strongest possible terms to tell her supervisor that the predictive dialling system is making nuisance calls and I will report them to ADMA, Energy Ombudsman and ACMA if I ever get a call from them again.

I spoke to Sonia (details above - thanks @jp) who was helpful and said she took the matter very seriously.
