When asked question, responds with anything other than what is asked.
Have not been able to ring back as this number has always been engaged.

I've been called three times by someone on this number and offered better deals for a Telstra phone. They can't give me the phone number, just the last four digits, which happen to match a number I am responsible for. The info the caller gives is inaccurate: saying my bill is higher than it actually is and offering a better deal. And very pushy and aggressive! Interesting to hear others have had similar experience...

this number calls our work number constantly and just hangs up when we answer.. this is ridiculous that people are allowed to do this.

Been getting calls regularly this week from this number. Have checked with Telstra - they haven't handed our info over - yesterday a woman told me she was calling from Command. All want to offer cheaper rates - have no real idea of what my account is made up of. Just cold calling spammers. Will be blowing a whistle in her ear the next time she calls

This is a cold call, I have asked that they remove me from there list however it hasn't stopped them form calling again and again!

I answered, female voice eventually responds "...bloody hell.." then cuts out

Received a call at work. When he mentioned about our phones, I said "we have a Telstra account manager and all our dealings are with her. Thank your for calling" and hung up!

Delay when answered "Hello... Hello?". "Hi my name is Madeline. How are you today". I responded "Good thanks. How can I help you there?"... Hung up!

I agree with the previous comments about this number. Our business has received several calls, and we simply hangup once we recognize a telemarketer.

Definitely a Spammer. Female saying she was from Telstra. I asked her what the account number she was referring to she ummed and urred ummed and arrud, then hung up.

So on to the next victim.

Definitely a telemarketer. Spammer. As per Paul's experience above. They offer a $30 saving on my phone account because I'd been identified as spending more than $80 each month.
I asked if he was ringing from Telstra and he said he was with Telstra's wholesaler.
I then suggested that he was therefore guessing that my bill was more than $80.
He said that my account information was sent to that department.
I then asked how it was that Telstra was sending him my account details, and he hung up on me.
Another number to add to my Ignore List.
They are certainly adapting to the changes in their target market. These time wasters used to use blocked numbers - now we don't answer blocked numbers so they've stopped blocking them.
They used to use overseas call centres - now we hang up when a hear the now typical Asian call centre voice, so they've switched to using locals.
It's only going to get worse, isn't it!
