Pretending to be the ATO with an automated message advising that a lawsuit has been filed against you

Automated message claiming a law suit was being filed against me.

I got a call from the number today - automated message purportedly from ATO. I hung up straight away - definitely a scam

Seeing the moment I get the message I have to get back to them otherwise they will issue an arrest warrant and come arrest me what a load of crap it obviously a scam call

Recorded message stating a law suit was being filed against me and if I didn’t call them back, a warrant would be put out for my arrest.

dreadful this automated message threatening lawsuits etc, i will block this number....

Missed called, message to txt:

“You missed a call from (03) 9013 5806, who said "Behind this call is that there is a lawsuit getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division number three."

Number now blocked via IPhone block caller function.

If people want to make legitimate contact, they will do so using a letter.

Let it go to voice mail, very automated and as mentioned earlier, Pretending to be the ATO with an automated message advising that a lawsuit has been filed against you

Left the following message; "The reason behind this call is that there is a law suit getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message, I want you to get back to me on my department division number (03) 9013 5806. I repeat (03) 9013 5806. Now if we don't hear from you, we have to issue arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested. So get back to us as soon as possible. Thank you."

This number called me and said they were from the Victorian federal Office and I should get my lawyer to call them. Did not say why and hung up on me.
