HAHA there really is something dodgy going on here... me and my brother bot h got the text so we called them and acted like the police sying " hello this is the Federal Police of Western Australia we are just calling after a few suspicions of about 5000 people saying that this may be an attempted scam and jsut to let you know to stay on the line because we are tracing your calls" after that they say that "no no police it is real it no joke, can i have your certificate number?" to which we replied "we have been gotten approximately 5000 notices regarding this scam since August 2008 and rest assured we will be delving further into the matter, could we please speak to your manager" to which they replied " no no this is real the peope do win 100,000 it no jo----" they hang up like THAT!! haha its hilarious... the more people that do it i think that they might one day stop :D

Same as above also $100,000 Casino Promotion, bad line, caller very hard to understand,very persistant and when asked for bank account details we declined, another person called back to try again, when asked why they couldn't send a cheque, they said it was their policy not to!!  all up we spoke to 3 different women.

see other comments as previously mentioned above comment they are using a couple of different numbers and all claiming 3rd prize winning.... thanks you lot for sharing... as if , they want deposit money, take it and run... these people need to be stopped. you there that lives up the road form them, go deal with them please... i am in tassie, other wise id gladdly do it myself, a few bricks ought to do the job.

I received SMS from this number and it said that I had won 3rd prize ($100,00 US) the certificate no:J4192, pl contact us asap. your right will be cancel if overdue.

The number was SMS to me and I called it back, I asked who the company was and they said the company name was GSCI, I asked for the company address and was told Collins Street Melbourne.

They asked for my identification number and bank account and I told them that I don't supply that information.  They kept asking for it.

I said that if I was the 3rd place winner they could send me a cheque and was told that wasn't safe!

Be very careful.  The operators sound convincing but alarm bells rang when I was told what I had won.

If you win a competition the company usually rings you and already has your details and doesn't ask for any confirmation on who you are.
