Caller: Scam call Same- called back and appears to be a room full of scammers re Ebay refunds. I hung up when they began to ask for all my details as was apparent they were not legitimate

You missed a call from (03) 9010 5041, who said "Put(?) the order on hold because we found some suspicious activity on your order so if you were(?) aware of this transaction then press one to continue with the order or if you not."

Caller: Claims to be eBay SCAM ALERT: I called the number back, the man claimed that someone was attempting to purchase an eBay gift card using my account. I checked my eBay account while he was talking and could see no suspicious activity. I hung up. eBay help states they won't call you unannounced.

Same happened to me today. Voice is automated asking me to press 1 for a refund. Been in touch with ebay. They know nothing of it. Number is (03) 9010 5041
