This is Set ( South East Training) Solutions phone number. If you have applied for a job through them they will call to help organise your career goals and offer government funded courses.

Why don't you lot type a bit more so we can understand what is going on you retards. Anyway this number links to a "switch board" apparently which is why you will immediately hear waiting music play. The operator will not tell you what company they are but will offer some excuse like they operate phones for over 35 companies. Which is a load of bullsh*t and it sounds all very suspicious. Anyway it is just a legit recruitment company with dodgy phone operators.

I work here and the business plan is to purely make money. All students who are in the courses only landed here because the applied for a non existent job but they are desperate and hope that SEt will find them a job if they inside and study with them. Once you're in and enrolled the business doesn't give a stuff about you. They also treat their staff with contempt and employ very young and inexperienced staff and give them titles that are way beyond their capabilities so these young and inexperienced people gave inflated egos

Good news. They have finally closed so no more harassing phone calls. The Government finally caught up with this mob of parasites by not renewing their VET licence (which if renewed would entitle them to dip into more government $). The government pays these private RTOs to train people towards a quality education (such as a cert iii or iv) so that people will have a better chance at employment. SET was playing on this, by posting fake jobs adds to lure candidates, then also providing poor quality training that only lasted a couple of weeks in filthy, disgusting places next to meat processing plants and tips in industrial areas. The laptops were over 5 years old and were riddled with dandruff. The booklets had cockroach feaces and the online stuff never worked and kept dropping out because of the location. Students were also enrolled into training that was not aligned to their career goals, only because SET provided certain courses. The owners/managers all bailed out of the business late last year as they could see the writing on the wall and after $$ had lined their pockets over the last 4-5 years, they new it was going to dry up. As they didn't put any money back into the business or resources they simply shut their doors without warning to the poor employees who still worked there plus no pay for them either. Very bad. They have also left some students high and dry. Lets hope the government finds the mob of parasites who were behind all of this, the previous owners and CEO (names withheld but provided to authorities).

Yes we are SORRY, we are all liars, we just want to scam the PEOPLE and Government. We are not honest, we like to advertise fake jobs. We are really a training group. But if you let us train you we still don't give you a job.

I have become aware of these "training course enrollment" practices and have reported one of the job ads to Seek.A few ads had similar jobs advertised and when you call or pick up a call and get to speak to them they always state " so and so is looking into this and is processing your application" but this of course it is impossible to confirm. They then lead straight into "but you do qualify for free Government subsidized training courses"...and so the phone spiel begins. These job ads are nothing more than "lures" as these agents are merely trying to fill / meet quota's for training courses...no doubt some form commission based incentive I'd imagine. They then go on to state that they cannot guarantee a job at the end of the course but it will increase the employment opportunities for the job seeker. Simply put...this offers no real benefit at all.I applied for a job because I needed to have work asap...I did not have the time to attend a 2 week course in the event it "may" lead to a job.I find this form of advertising jobs misleading and very deceitful and I will contact Seek again ... am thinking of posting of my various social media to "advise" others. It may not be deemed "illegal" but it is definitely taking advantage of people desperate for work.

I had a call from this number at 6:40 pm today while I was cooking. Didn't bother picking the phone as it's not normal working hours and i was busy. Just now check it in google and feel lucky to read all your post. I applied for jobs with Set Solution before and this is the first time they called me. Anyway, will be careful with this number. Thanks all xox

Called at 7.45 in the evening.for the second time.unimpressed with being contacted so late in the evening and very unimpressed with being contacted after explicitly asking not to be again.

no idea who it is. Rings phone for a second then hangs up. If you ring back all operators are busy and they want you to leave your details on their answering machine without saying who they are.

After reading these posts I'm a little nervous now. I got a phone call from them today stating she was from Set Solutions after applying for a job on seek.com.au.We spoke for a little bit and they girl seemed nice she said she wasn't having a nice day, asked me how my day going, she then said I qualify for a free government training course and I'm happy to meet with one of them in the next few days to discuss my options and further training at a time convenient to me. My phone died near the end of the conversation and she said she would email me a confirmation of the interview but I never got anythingShe asked my birth date too, should I be worried? Not really legit if you genuinely are looking for a job and your resume is sent off to someone trying to sell you a training program. http://www.setsolutions.com.au/

got this number calling from SET SOLUTION at 7pm offering a position which I applied on Seek. I stupidly answered every question including my qualifications, email, postcode. I was a bit aware that I asked it was 7pm but you were still working. The lady answered she was doing afternoon shift. I have no idea what will happen next to me.
