They're a marketing research company: Glengarry or something like that.
I told them I'm not interested in doing a survey or buying anything...
For any and all who have smartphones.. iphones allow you to block certain numbers so they cannot get through and I'd assume other smartphones would have similar functions.. simply touch the information 'i' to the right of the number in your recents list swipe to see the bottom option which is 'Block this Caller' and you're done.. no more annoying calls from them ;)

I received a few calls from this number. I answered and it was a total LOSER of a guy trying to be a macho wanting to 'survey' me. I said I was on the do not call register and how did he get my number? He said to me they were exempt because it is a survey not a sales thing but that he could take me off their list. I said that would be great and he said to me.... You have yourself an average day?!?! Well to be honest, that is a compliment compared to the day I have actually had so backfired on him =) I'm about to block him.

Received alot of missed calls from this number, time varies.
Finally answered a call and was asked questions about your area, retirement, age, travel and super ... I didnt answer truthfully as I dont trust them.

This number calls my phone and hangs up when I answer - Google says the number belongs a business in Hawthorn, VIC called 'red underline'.

Called and said he was from a Glen something or other research. Asked questions about retirement age, super etc..

They said they were market research. Then hung up.

I answered with a business name and they hung up. I've now blocked their number/

This number rings us twice every day at 11.00am or 2.00pm and again at about 7.00pm.

We usually do not answer the call and our calling number display shows that we do not know the number and that they must be telemarketers or survey people.

I decided to answer to day as I thought I would give them some cheek and lead them on to annoy as they seem to like annoying other people. I had never doen that before - but I felt like doing that today. But I did not get a chance:

When I answered I could hear voices in their background and a rustling of a phone cord when I said "hello". Then they quickly hung up - it was as if they had actually heard me say "hello" and were just ringing to annoy someone and then hanging up when I answered - rather than a telephonist ringing 5 numbers simultaneously and only speaking to the first one who picks up the phone call and then hanging up on the other 4 numbers they dialled.

They must hate their silly jobs.

So tired of calls from this number. I too have reported them to the DNCR but am still getting the calls. Not sure what the point of the DNCR is if the companies keep calling knowing they have been reported?

This number keeps calling and hanging up before answering or just after answering. Haven't called it back as I'm sick of scams! Very annoying
