Caller: Probably a charity representative

I am on the 'DO NOT CALL REGISTER', for my home and mobile numbers. Therefore (03) 9006 0174 must be a Charity as Charities are not blocked in the 'do no call register'. They call every day and I do not answer. I am on Newstart and it's hard enough to feed my self, let alone donate. Any Charities that have caught me are very persistent, even though I explain I am on Newstart and can't donate. They should not be allowed to harass people.

I do not play back their message. I just block their number but they call me with a different number which I block again and again and so it goes on. They are beyond a nuisance as I have not given them my number on any occasion.

Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd and The Fundraising Group (VIC) are employed by registered charities to assist their fundraising efforts, this includes contacting donors both new and existing via telephone. To verify a call from one of our tele-fundraisers, refer to the table below for campaigns we are calling now, along with the line number/s used for caller ID purposes:

Caller: They said they where from guide dogs

I told the lady that I was not interested that I had no money she then kept talking say that she had not asked for money and how did I know that she would be asking for money I said there would be no other reason she still kept trying to badger me I said have a nice day I think I am going to invest in a whistle maybe they will get the message then.

Hung up when I answered with our business name. If they are legit they wouldn't hang up without saying anything - so definitely dodgy.

Caller: Apple Marketing Group - Charities

At least 3+/week. Immediately hangs up when answered. This borderline harassment turns me off from making any contribution to any charities.

Asked this "company" to provide promotional material to an email address. Was told they could only send an invoice in other words you must agree to pay over the phone. How stupid do they think people are to agree to something before even knowing what the product is? Every business is able to send information and a proper website via email. Very obvious scammers.

I called on my landline and was directed to a form to submit including Name, email address, state and phone number (s) with notice, it may take up to 28 business days to process and notice will be sent that the process is complete. I simply sent an email to: dnc @ applemarketing.com.au with all of the details I mentioned , requesting removal from their data base. We shall see.

Caller: Somebody handing me a line in a text message to call the back about $47,000 in my trading account.

They want me to complete a survey etc. Good luck with that!!

I did not know the number so allowed call to go the message machine but the caller hung up instead of leaving a message so this leads me to belief it is a crank call rather than someone calling me about a specfic issue.

Caller: Marketing group as stated

I'm over these callers getting around the useless "do not call register". I promptly cut them off mid speech (actually using Australian cold callers too) and told them to drop my number like a hot pie, and to never ring again for the fifth time. We even disconnected our landline at home due to all the spam, at least you can block on your mobile mostly

Caller: Some charity

Cancer Charity, knew my name.I used to buy raffle tickets off them The kids cancer thing got me as my youngest had breast cancer! Have since blocked the number as they are pests.

They call 3 times a day 4pm 5pm & 6pm. I am getting sick of them calling. Why don't they give up. We're all wise to them

If I don't know number I don't answer. Look up here and usually find they are scammers.

Same Caller: Apple Marketing Group but again different number this week. Never leave a message so its not important. Scammers trying to take money from hard working people. When is this all going to stop?

Phones my mobile around 5-6pm on a number of occasions I let it ring never leaves a message
