I called back number (03) 9006 0174 reached IVR for Apple Marketing Group.

I don't answer these numbers. Looked up on here and found this number is Apple Marketing Group. Looked up their website.
Because they call on behalf of charities they can't be put on the Do Not Call Register. However, they have a form on which you can fill out any numbers you do not want contacted then either mail or email it back to them and your numbers will be added to their own DNC registry (says will take up to a month to take effect).
Will send mine off and see what happens.

According to other ppl’s comments here it’s some legitimate fund raising charitie org.
Firstly.... I DO NOT answer to any numbers that aren’t in my contacts!
Secondly..... I have more important people in my life to whom I’m helping by giving charity to....
Thirdly.... there are rich Australian actors, footballers, businessmen etc who should be charitable and all charities should haress this filthy rich and not ordinary people like me... I need charity as well so that I can afford to live like all “stars” and business owners!!!

Caller: Apple Marketing Group

Had a missed call from this number today. It's a company raising funds for charities. I looked them up. It's a legit business (Pty.Ltd) with employees hired to "scavenge" for donations. "Great" business model, living of other peoples' money. By the time the management gets their (fat) cut, the employees get paid, there would be token amounts going to actual charities in need of funds. Last time I checked (few years ago) it was enough to donate 5% of total money raised from donations, to claim the status of charity fundraiser.

Glad I searched the number and read the posts. Have blocked the number..

Annoying call for charity. Even if legit I bet little of it actually gets to the charity.

Receive daily calls from this number. When answered hangs up.

Cancer Charity, knew my husbands name, to be fair my husband used to buy raffle tickets off every caller! The kids cancer thing gets him every time!! Said they will call back, blocked the number

A woman caller eventually got around to asking me for money (by direct debit).

I keep getting missed calls from this number even though I have them as a blocked caller.

I missed this call,but there was an audio message left. I listened to it,but it was blank. Some scam.

Tis number calls me quite frequently but the call drops just after I answer it. I assume that it is a robocaller that is unable to transfer me to an operator.

These guys are relentless. Calling multiple times a week, don't ever leave voicemails and are no better than crank callers.

They're at it again. Have had four calls from them this week. I haven't answered any of them. Number blocked.

Even if charities are allowed to call how the hell did they get my silent number? I don’t recommend filling in forms for their do not call register because they get more private details to update their database. These con artists obviously cannot be trusted with over 100 complaints!
