Get these numbers on our home phone all the time. Purchased a Telstra "Home Guardian" system from Telstra Shop and set up call monitoring. Use the provided female voice which instructs callers who haven't been accepted by you in the past or are not in white list or personal phone book to leave their name followed by the Pound Key (Hash). Once done, only then will the phone start ringing Providing a number and display "Announced Call" which you will hear once the green call button is pressed and then you can accept once, always, block or send to built-in answer machine. No crank calls since May 2018 when installed and for memory - about seventy dollars. Well worth it! Two cordless phones and answering machine.

Caller: Kids Cancer Charity

Apple Marketing have a form on their web site that you can fill in and they are supposed to put your number/s on their internal "do not call" register. I am going to try it because I am sick of running to the phone only to have them hang up on me 9 times out of 10. If it is someone other than Apple Marketing trying to get in contact with me they will hopefully leave a message.

The government doesn't care, they only care about serving themselves our tax dollars. As a matter of fact it's this simple...

If you do anything to disrupt the process, you will likely be fined, murdered, heavily medicated and labelled a schizophrenic or imprisoned

I googled this number like most people. This scammer and others make me so aware of the decent charities out there trying to raise funds for under privileged Australians. I don't donate a cent over the phone unless it's a telethon run by a television station. Others are NOT getting my credit or debit card number. It's a f*cking disgrace.

Nuisance scam calls. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

It was a hangup call on my mobile. I came here to check who called in case they try again. Glad I saw this!

I google every unknown number I get and I get at least 3 per day, and I block everyone of them. soo over these scammers. It's not right, why can't our government do something to control this kind of harassment. I've got better things to do than talk to these inbreds.

Get them all to convert to Islam.

I just donated money to a charity and received a number from this call straight away, not impressed, trying to be charitable and I get call after call, they are now blocked

Caller: Apple Marketing

Quite a long time ago (years) I worked as a telemarketer for this company, it is true they fundraise for charities, Cerebal Palsey, the Red Cross. As it was so long ago I do not remember others but there are quite a lot. The numbers are rung by a computer and if there is no answer in a certain number of rings it automatically hangs up and the operators are not permitted to leave messages on answering machine. I don't know why they are using this particular number as they are based on the Gold Coast.

Caller: Charity Fundraiser Hotline

I get calls from 'Charity Fundraiser" all the time.As soon as I pickup, they hang up. They also call from (03) 9006 0174, Very annoying.

I never answer numbers I don't recognise. If they're genuine they leave a message on voice mail. If they don't leave a message, they have no reason to call me. I then block the number. But of course they have a whole range of numbers. I just keep blocking them anyhow.

If this number (03) 9006 0157 are some cheraty fund raising scammers as I’v read some comments here then I’v Got news for them - I do not answer to any numbers that are not in my in my list of contacs .... cheraty begins at home so I’v got already a lot of relatives in my lofe to give cheraty to... STOP calling!

They hung up as soon as I answered, but looks like a scam/spam call anyway.

Because these companies are employed by charities to do their fundraising, the fundraising company is exempt from the laws concerning the Do Not Call register.
