Robotic voice claiming to be ATO and there is a issue pending.

Obvious scam attempt

Claimed to be from the ATO and that i was under investigation for tax fraud...robotic voice

ATO warning of complaint- warrant out for my arrest. Must respond to halt proceedings.

Threatening call from "tax office", saying legal case against name & warrant issued for arrest!!!!. Tax office phone numbers all start with either 1300 or 1800. The voice sounded computer generated

Supposedly tax office, saying we owed money & warrant would be executed!!!!. Voice was computer generated.Last words were "do not ignore". Ha ha

The call was a recorded message. When I rang number back it, the call was identified as Webkos, but the number was engaged. The message claimed to be from the Australian Tax department, it was claiming that there was a court case pending for unpaid tax.

When I googled Webkos, their address was in East Kew and seemed to be a residential premise. I strongly suspect this a scam.

Got left a autodialled voicemail message from this number this morning. Did some research and it's a total scam number.

The recording mentions late payment for the ATO, and that before an arrest warrant is issued, to call the ATO on this number (03) 9005 7718 - NOT the ATO, this is their scam line.
