bogus message from ATO stating I was to be arrested if I did not return call

same day and same story.

Left voice mail saying I had to return call immediately and if I didn’t, I will be arrested.

3 calls from the number threatening me that if I did not return the call, police would turn up at my house and arrest me.

Bogus call stating a legal suit had been registered in my name

Got a voicecall left from this number saying that I will be arrested if I dont call them back. Ofcourse I didnt

I have no doubt that this is a scam of some kind.
I too received on of these calls today on my mobile.
A prerecorded voice with an American accent claimed that an Arrest Warrant was going to be issued from the ATO and I needed to call back.
I called back later from a landline and as soon as the call was answered they hung up.
The ATO works in methodical manners and would not issue an action without contacting the parties first via formal communications and documents. They would also announce their name if they called you.

Spam call. A voice message telling I will get arrested if I don’t return call.

I got missed call and message saying it was the ATO and a lawsuit was filed against me and to call back, if not I would be arrested too!

I missed 2 calls. Had 2 voice messages (automated voice) saying if they did not hear from me would issue an arrest warrant under my name and get me arrested.

Computer voicemail advising I'd be arrested if I didn't call back. Obviously a BS call. Unless the terminator now works for the govt

Robocall threatening to have me arrested if i didn't return call.

ATO Scam Caller. Left pre recorded message saying arrest warrant has been issued. Called them back and someone answered saying they are from the ATO investigation unit. Nowing a bit about the ATO I questioned them, they couldnt handle the heat and they hung up on me. Tried ringing back and would not pick up call....Clearly a scam, ATO has been alerted.

Be aware it was not the ATO they called then hung up and we ended up calling back very dodgy said he was an officer and his said a badge number

called twice within 1 minute. Didn't leave message voice message

Same thing for me. Saying if i dont get back to them i will be arrested
