I am the director of Melbourne Wide Finance. Since April 2015 a Victor Jordan has been pretending to be involved with Melbourne Wide Finance Pty. I have had over 20 people who have contacted me since then. The police and fraud squad have been contacted and there is currently an investigation taken place. They believe it is being run from India. I run a very small home loan company and do not and have never dealt with personal loans. He is preying on people who need personal loans and then asking for insurance fees, est fees, etc

This number goeas to a dodgy sounding electronic voicemail.
I applied for online loans and recieved a call from an Indian sounding guy, who actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Said he was based in Melbourne and the company was Melbourne Wide Finance, which i cant find anywhere on google search BUT - is registered with ASIC - strange.
Now i try to look here, and the number isnt recognised, so i dunno. Anyway, anyone who looks this number up or has doubts with its authenticity to a finance company, beware or do some research.

Further to the above It is a total scam and presently involved are federal and local police ASIC, Bankwest and St George and Commonwealth Bank. As above very plausible sounding even forwarding documents and then requesting ID and payment details for Direct debit etc BE WARNED IT IS A SCAM OF CONSIDERABLE SCALE FROM INDIA

My partner and I just got scammed by these people too. They are not a legitimate company. They asked for $1000 for insurance on a loan, which we paid. Now they dont answer their phone and of course, no money. And they have all my ID!!!
