Yes these calls from this number are really getting out of hand.I am receiving calls from early morning to nine at night nearly every day..I screen all of my calls and I eventually answered one at 9pm and said what do you want and the male voice kept repeating 'What do you want from me', as in the song...

As above, this number has called constantly over the last week. No-one speaks. VERY annoying.

This is clearly some sort of spammer, calls very regularly, pretending to be from Sth Melb and claiming they are some other company. I've had telstra block it as an "unwelcome call" (call 1800 805 996 if you're a telstra customer). That doesn't give these liars what they deserve but at least is one method of avoiding them.

They have been calling me at least 8 times a day for the past few days. They tried to ask for a Mrs [last name] and neither my sister or I are married so I informed them that no Mrs [last name] lives here so they hung up, still get a million calls but all dead quiet for about 5-10 seconds and then an answering machine type voice saying 'goodbye' and ending the call.
So annoyed, can't believe they keep trying it! Wish there was some way to get them disconnected!

why the hell can't our provider do anything to stop these pests, masquerading as people from Melbourne turn it up, worked in Sth Melb all my life this clown said he was from South Melbourne, why can we take control for heavens sake

You cannot even return a call to this number. All the complaints are much the same. Why can't they just be disconnected for harrassment?

bullying telemarketer, spoke to my grandson first, lucky I walked in and collected the phone, thought he was speaking to the account holder, grandson said he spoke to fast to understand him, I told him my land line was on a contract, more or less called me a liar, who the hell do they think they are??

I've been getting calls from (03) 9001 5836 as well... for weeks, several times a day. Originally, I had male indian asking for Mr Malcom, which is not my name, I said no you have wrong number... then the same guy kept calling, asking for Mr. Malcom, I told him to stop ringing, there is no Mr.Malcom here... then I got a female indian, same thing. I kept just hanging up. Then eventually I told them to f*** off. Now when they ring, all I get is 10 secs silence and they hang up. I've been letting the answering service get it... always silence or no message logged.

I have a voip phone, unlisted, but I have seen my number on a phone number generator listing. I have also put it on the do not call reg. Although it probably won't make a difference, seeing as how I have only had this number for a couple of months, brand new number, opted to have it "unlisted" and yet I still get spam calls.

Just had a call from a woman pretending to be from telstra, she was trying to sell some kind of deal when I told her I was not interested she rudely hung up...did a goodgle search on this number and found that there are hundreds of others who had the same issue! Why can't they be blocked from calling like this?

They want to know my personal info when I asked them where are they speaking from they said Melbourne then I asked which suburb u r in then they first hang up the phone and rang me next day started to use foul language. I am very frustrated now I talked to Telstra and they said they can't do anything. I am still getting those 4-5 calls every day.

Have had the same sort of thing. Phone rings you pick it up, say hello, and there is no answer at the other end then hangs up about 2 seconds later. Has happened 8 times in the last 24 hours
