i used to come home to 3 calls from this number every time i go to answer the phone with this number it hangs up, i used a little reverse engineering with an TCP/IP phone and descovered this number links back to a company called "Sweeney market research"
i lloked up their company and their number and called the supervisor directly, if they call you, tell the people that you will be contacting the ACMA and filing a report for telecommunicational harrasement (you dont actualy need to) and they will stop calling...

had a rude woman yelling into the phone asking for the owner, asked for her name & company and she got very defensive, i said i couldn't put her through to the owner without that information and she then told me to f*ck off. no exaggeration. I wasn't rude once.

They have rang me countless times and tell I will have unlimited local/long distance calls I just tell them I already get that from telstra and hang up. I do really get that from telstra lol

I blocked the number through Telstra 1800 805 996 and the process was free and fast - just have the number to be blocked handy.

I get atleast 2 calls a week from this phone number saying they are calling from Optus and asking to speak to the business owner about the landline service. It is driving me crazy! I tried calling Sweeney Market Research but they say it is not their number. I have tried calling Optus and they were so hopeless that it wouldn't surprise me if it was them!! Anyone got any suggestions?

This company attempt to mascarade as Telstra, however when directly asked if they were Telstra they stated no. Best of luck everyone, share the misery.

I spoke with Telstra they said they cannot disconnect as it is not a Telstra line but if you call 1800 805 996 they can block it for you as an unwelcome caller.

Same as everyone else, a pause and then goodbye. Really starting to annoy me, and I would like to get into contact with the company.

They called again today. Come on Telstra — disconnect this line.

These people call often, but my partner is usually the one answering the phone. Today, I answered the second call of the day. I didn't catch the guy's name, though he knew my surname. He spoke very fast, but seemed to be telling me who my phone provider was (incorrect info) and proceeded to tell me that from next week all my local and std calls would be unlimited. He spoke of working for the wholesaler of Telstra's network. When pushed, he named the company he was calling from as 'Zunto' - I didn't ask him to spell it. The bull kept coming and I ended up hanging up on him.

Sick of it. Take time to put down what you are doing and pick up their call thinking that it is a customer and all you get is a pause and computer 'Goodbye'. I wish they would stop being so annoying and wasting everyones time.

Rude sales call. She literally yelled at me to put her through to the business owner but would provide no details. Who thinks that yelling at people is a good way to sell whatever she was selling. Wish I could report her she was so rude.

Called today. Warren from Melbourne. No idea what he wants. Wanted to know what time we open tomorrow? It's Saturday tomorrow. Australia Day. We never open on Saturday. I hung up on him.

I think you will find it is a Company called Spiral Communication in Melbourne lots of comments about them and how they handle customers on lots of sites

I got a call from a guy supposedly name 'Warren' on this number and I advised I wasnt interested and he told me to go to hell
