I was constantly called. Told them I wasn't interested. If it was a sexual situation the way the were forcing themselves onto me would be considered rape.
No means No. But No to these spammers means keep going, get nasty and harass even further.

A recording says it is from Telstra/NBN technical department. it says my internet will be terminated in one hour and gave the option to press 1 for technical support. I knew that it was a scam and pressed 1 to see what their next attempt is. but the caller hanged up.....

Caller: Jennifer These scammers from India called numerous time on my business landline. Automated message says internet will soon be disconnected and to press 1 for tech support. I pressed 1 each time. Instance 1 - Spoke to a mumbling idiot who just disconnected after 10 seconds while talking. Instance 2 - Jennifer said Telstra is going to disconnect my internet. Then proceeded with the standard tech support troubleshooting, 'check the modem lights', etc... then gradually work into seeking more personal and sensitive information. When I asked her the how she feels about scamming people, she hung up.

Sorry to disappoint you but you aren't usually wasting their time. An automated PC is listening for an answer before transferring you to a scammer. If you don't speak it times out.

Scam callers, we automatically divert them to our "unwanted caller" answering machine and let them try to scam that.
