I got a call from this number, looked here, and decided to reject the number on my android phone. Settings>Call Settings> call reject> call reject (set to "reject on list") then put number in call reject list.

They are DBM Consultants calling on behalf of Westpac. I am now reporting them to the Australia do not call register for bothering me!

Pretty much everybody who has received a call fom them has a problem with debt - as this is a debt collector. Hence everybody having silent numbers etc...(and here comes the indignent "I don't have a debt" responses) You may have, u just don't know it!

Also received call from (03) 8862 7400 but did not answer. Last call I made was to st George enquires (13 33 30)to ask about branch hours and Westpac to St George EFT clearance period, and even answered the automated survey after the call regarding the satisfaction levels of my query, the quality level of the phone agent and my likelihood to recommend St George based on my experience during the call. All answers were 10. Will call the number to Susa it out completely.

Spam. Didn't call on behalf of anyone. They're breaching the privacy act. I've reported to the Privacy Commissioner, I encourage you to do the same. privacy.gov.au.

Maybe this will work...if they call you refuse to partake in the survey and that (this is the most important thing) you want them to delete your number from the their list. Don't be surprised that even if you have a silent number, they can still call you because the computer gerenerate numbers "randomly". So, legally, they cannot be held liable. Hope this helps.

Had a call from them about a survey today. Didnt answer and looked up the number. Crazy thing is a used a westpack atm today (as i dont usually use that bank ever this seems suspicious since a few of you have related it to westpack) I do not bank with westpack, it was the only atm in proximity to me. Maybe thats how they got our numbers?

I have Kaspersky Mobile Security on my mobile (Samsung Galaxy SII) which enables me to block any incoming phone number or SMS (or both) directly from my phone. I'm not sure if any other mobile security systems offer this, but Kaspersky is fantastic. I have used it to block this number, and haven't heard from them since. Just an option :-)

Unfortunately you can not block this number as it is calling on behalf of another company and is not selling anything. I've tried to block them but was told they walk a fine line and that there's nothing they can currently do.
