You people are ridiculous. Just answer the call and say you're not interested, and they will not call back. I work for the company. We are not a scam we are simply doing research for companies like telstra and westpac. Why do you get your knickers in such a twist? Why call us rude names? I'm just doing my job and trying to earn money to support myself while I'm studying. We're not invading privacy at all the surveys are just a few simple questions about rating service you've received on a scale of 0-10. You're all paranoid and delusional. It's not that hard to say I'm not interested thanks and we won't call back. Why just ignore the call? Crazy.

I had a call from this number from DBM (the market research company). They asked to be put through to the area of my business that makes decisions about business banking. The amusing thing is that I work for one of the Big 4 banks! Not many decisions going on here as to which bank to use!

Anti-survey

I got a call on Saturday at about 12:30 pm from this number. I am a night shift worker and was woken, but did not answer it in time. The caller did not have the decency to leave a message to say who they were or what they were ringing for, they just use 'sniper' tactics. If these callers would like to kindly supply me with their home phone numbers I will enjoy repeat calling them and interrupting their sleep and privacy with some pointless survey questions of my own. Then again, I may be just paranoid and delusional. Reverse Australia provides and excellent service, keep up the good work!

Did the same this morning. The caller asked for my husband by name saying they were doing a government survey. I said he was asleep being a shift worker. They said they would phone back later. I have blocked this number.

How dare they invade my private time

The D.N.Call loophole seems to be they can call on the basis of survey and not a sales call. (Telstra are gutless anyway re straight forward breaches of D.N.C. anyway.) BUT BUT BUT it stinks if "advising you" re Gov. solar rebates, and if you lie and say you DON'T have solar then they conclude by saying that someone can call you from a solar company if you give the o.k.
1. So lie back to them, when they say it is not a sales call. 2. Then agree to have the solar company phone. 3 Then agree to have them visit only to find you already have solar. 4 Then tell them what a waste of yours and their time they have been. 5 Tell your friends.

you are not helping your company or your livelihood by calling potential clients "ridiculous", "paranoid" or "delusional"

Weird four ring call on my mobile, with no chance to answer it! Those who work in this industry need to get a normal job. There is no ethical justification for ringing anyone unsolicited, including customers who have had a prior relationship with the company. The emailing or posting of information is fine, as it is not a personal invasion of time and space. Any person who tries to justify this is not worth the conversation.

My phone is on the do not call register. The phone call was made during dinner time. I do not answer calls where I do not know the number! Who wants to be annoyed in the evening with this? If I want to buy something or find out about products I will make the call.
