Caller hung up as soon as I answered, sounded like call centre in background?. suspected spam

Caller: Something to do with Electricity

Knew my full name. Stated something about cheaper electricity rates & industry price rises. So annoying. Blocked the number.

Won't stop calling me. Very annoying. When I answer they hang up. Makes no sense.

Caller: Electricity ‘deals’

Hard to understand exactly what they were selling but they were very pushy and a bit rude. Seemed to be about electricity provision. Wouldn’t take no for an answer so I hung up and blocked the number which seems similar to several other such calls I’ve received in the past months. Blocking is SO satisfying!

call several times as they don't take NO for an answer. About time the Government stopped these companies from being able to purchase or use Aus numbers for this type of activity.

Came up as suspected scam message on my phone.

This number might be active again as just received call which I did not answer.

I had the same as you. Suspected caller. Just block it.

SPAM Call, they have called me 5 times

Caller: Indian guy

He said he had a very important message for me.

Scammers mate, I get the same number calling me.

Kept calling & hanging up.

Called me 5 times today. 100% a spam caller. Blocked the number. I'd suggest others do the same.

Call from Ringwood, Melbourne... they hung up 10secs after I answered. Blocked now

I got a call from a person called Daniel and Patrick who said they offering a better plan from energyaustralia. Did anyone get a call from them? is this geniune?

He asked, is your name on the electricity bill?
I said, no.
He asked, whose name?
I said, non of your business.
He said, why are you so rude?
I said, remove me from your list.
He keeps saying I am rude.

I said, omg thank you. then hang up

They had a very strong non English accent and wouldn’t or couldn’t explain who they were - very suspect

Answered the call but got hung up.
