Citylink - Call you as soon as your account goes in debit, answer the phone, and no one there.

Called today, answered it but there was absolute silence on the other end. Will not be calling this number back but will block instead

keep calling me I answer nothing on the other side then they hang up. the funny thing is that one day in the future you will get a letter saying they took you to court and won because they were trying to contact you and they couldn't and then you find yourself with a credit history and extra court fees to pay. this is how f*****ed this system is in this country. I have been through it already with city link!!!

They claim to be citylink, but they are scam, asking for card details to pay overdue invoice, it's SCAM

Left a voicemail with nothing but silence, I'm going to assume it's the same as everyone else's experience and not bother.

Exact same thing happened, they call and I missed it so it went to voicemail and when I played it back 10 seconds of complete silence, not sure who it is

No one on the other end - just silence - I have a citystink account and it's always in credit - I'm guessing coz the government allows these rip of merchants to operate from overseas call centres our details have been sold off once again.

This number called my mobile and I got the silence then hangup as others have stated here. I called the number back from my office landline and it went through to a Citylink call centre. I spoke to someone (with an Australian accent) about an overdue invoice on my account. The conversation seemed legit. Did not offer to pay anything on the phone in case there was anything fishy going on. They'll be sending the invoice to my address apparently. Will wait and see.

Like so many others, phone rung.. I answered and no one said anything, no noise so I hung up. I did contact citylink and I asked if this number was connected to them, the female (bot) said it may be an automated number we have..and it may be due to an outstanding amount.. funny I am in credit..

Answered the phone and no one there, not even background noise, just completely silent so it's probably automated or something. I wouldn't be surprised if it was citylink as I do have some overdue toll fees!

I recently received 2 phone calls form this number, i went onto the website and was on a live chat to which the person did not know about the number.
I called the number back and the person said he did not call me but someone else did, he said he was from the credits department. when i asked why he called he refused to tell me but insisted i give him my car rego so he could find out who did (i don't have an account with citylink).
I then gave him the times and dates the calls where made and for the duration they lasted as i did not wish to give my information out. I then asked to speak to a supervisor as is my right. (i am writing this comment as i am on the phone to these people so i can give you the most information possible.)
after an extensive wait i was then asked for my name, i refused to give my last name, they then gave me my old cars information, which i had sold a month prior. they then told me my car was the reason for the call but refused to go into detail. i then gave my personal information to which they said i had a payment due.
This seems to be a legitimate number however you do have to call them back.
however you have to tell them what information you need to know.

Same as the others, seems to be CityLink's automatic dialler. Calls your number but no one acknowledges. Will auto block the number
