nuisance call

Ring constantly nonstop from 2:30pm onwards & more than twice in one afternoon. Blocked them but they keep finding another number to ring from. I never answer these numbers . If it is important they will leave a message & I'll return.

I am sick of these F*****RS calling me all the time - I have blocked so many numbers from these knobends that I've lost count! What's the solution apart from blocking every single number ???

They just don't stop

Got a call from this number and hang up when I answered the phone. Luckily I Google the number and found similar responses, need not call them back.

Selling I over the phone saying they got my info from Australian Data Service. As far as I know, it is illegal to sell insurance over the phone without the prospective buyer understanding that PDS.

Rung me a few times, annoying.

Called them back on my silent number . The guy was either Indian or Pakistani and said he was from insurance line and asked me whether he could help . I didn't answer and hung up .I could hear a lot of background call-centre noise .

This is just another of the 50 plus numbers that called me over the past 3 weeks and then hangs up when you answer. Telstra business must be thriving with all these telemarketers. I think I will have to buy some shares soon.

The guy with Indian accent said he is in India and represents Australian data company. He wouldn't tell me his name. There was noise sounded like people talking in the background. Also there was the lapse period before he started talking.

I called me about 4 times a day.. when I answered they hang up.. unbelievable!!!

Called 3 times in last 2 days from this number - they keep asking for a different name when I say that's not me they get angry and say it must be! Lol - have just blocked this number.

Yes - very painful. A recorded message that just said 'Goodbye". I have made them a contact called "Scamming number Do Not Answer"

I said where did you get my number, the guy with Indian accent replied "from AustraliaOnDisk" (unregistered company, see link below) He said he was fr InsuranceLine (so will never do business with them!) but I reckon he's more likely just after your credit card details so his boss can buy another Merc, and he can buy some food. If the govt can't track these people down when we are giving them their numbers, are they complicit? They are breaking the law. Big give away is the call center noise in the background and the lapse before they speak.

Got an attempted call from the)# number but did not answer as I was driving. Checked this page and sure enough it seems a scammers #. As someone else here has mentioned, why cannot communications bods not ban these obvious pests.?
