Received call on mobile, when attempting to answer , no connection. Not the first time . I suspect a scam after reading other's comment on this site. Will block that Number on my Phone.

They've rung me three times today. I wonder if they get the mobile numbers from when you get a quote for work around the house like fencing quote: it seems too coincidental. They're just annoying bastards.

No one there when I answered. 5 minutes later another call, this time from one digit less . lots of background noise (call centre) and female with an Indian accent saying she was ringing me because I had expressed interest in an inline share trading platform. It was the same as the one yesterday so I just hung up.

Something about investments. I told them to take me off the list and asked how they got my number. I got angry and she got defensive. I blocked the number. Do not trust.

Terry
Had numerous calls from a man claiming to want to "help" us fix our problems on the computor and asking questions of my children about our family. He said he was from "Premium PC and their company is based in Sth Melbourne ph (03) 8807 0905" initially he was refusing to give me thier phone number. I can find no evidence of this company being genuine , this is a scam ! Do not give any personal info to them . Terry Sydney Australia July 2011

My call appeared to come from 000290378488 ..... but 'Mark' said that was just the way the call centre code came up (in itself quite plausible).Claiming to be from Windows Service Centre he said he could solve my PC problems. He could show me I had a lot or 'error' reports and was going to get me to log onto the internet to find his magic solution .... before I stopped him and said I would ring him back. He gave me 0061-388-07-09-05 as the number to call (but even quite politely told me that dialling Australia from The Netherlands might be quite expensive). I guess if even 1 in 100 people fall for this and one in five of them later key in something that can be used by others to lessen their bank balances ..... it's more cost effective than a traditional Nigerian 419 mailscam !!
