Caller: Telstra Business Partners (supposedly) I'm always REALLY SUSPICIOUS of any numbers prefixed (03 or 02) 8*** ****. I had a call on my cell phone this arvo from this number. I didn't answer, but called back on my (private no.) landline only to get a foreign sounding voice, after I thought call would ring out, answering with "Telstra Business Partners". Could be legit, but I've blocked the number anyway. I never answer calls that I don't recognize.

Caller: Vineet P509521 from Leader / Telstra Solutions As per the description above. Alarmingly, he had my name, email address, work and mobile phone numbers as well as by d.o.b. Telstra confirmed that they had not phoned or emailed me.

Caller: Telstra Fraud I got a call from this number and they clearly have an insider in Telstra, as they knew all of my Phone numbers, Date of Birth, address etc. Very convincing but comfirmed with Telstra tat it is a fraud. They send out an email with an offer and require more personal info. Beware

I was also called today by (03) 8804 5822. Had my plan details and email address. How did they get that? Sounded too good for a new plan. I requested to be emailed information first. Must be a scam

Caller: Vineet P509521 Received a call from this number (03) 8804 5822 from a guy (with an Indian sounding accent) suggested improving my existing mobile phone plan. He had my Telstra account details which I was asked to verify. He seemed legitimate and believable. However, he emailed a Mobile BYO Plan re-contract document which required provision of licence details as proof of identity and included a dodgy electronic signature section. The email was sent from Telstra Solutions (telstrasolutions @ leadersystems.com.au) which seemed strange. I confirmed with Telstra that it is a SCAM to obtain identity documentation.

Some one inside Telstra is pulling off scams. Filo accent, knows all my details, even knew when my contract expired.... This is what happens when you send your customer service overseas and have very little control. Ive had 6 calls today and have been leading them on with a recording device. Submitted to Telstra. I am now looking for a new Aussie only provider.

Caller: telstra (supposedly) I received a call from this number and the guy told me he could give me a better package for my phone and foxtel. He said he would email new contract. Looks nothing like Telstra contracts I've received previously and asked for my driver's license details....SCAM
