Caller: Claims to be ATO

Recorded voice message saying something about pension backpayments and an increase. Says to 'press 1' for 'head office'. Given I'm not on the pension, this is clearly a scam.

so this number called this morning, I called back and got an engaged signal. Googled and saw this so added to it. I then got two calls from Romania and posted that here too. I then just got 2 calls from Malaysia +6094727657 . I'm starting to wonder if it is this site that is attracting spam callers?

straight after getting the call from this number (03) 8799 2150 - which I didn't answer and tried to call back - I got a call from Romania +40(03) 1140 8488

same as per above - I didn't answer it but tried to call back and got the engaged signal

Automated message from Amazon saying my account will be debited and urging me to press 1

Claimed they were from the National Broadband network and said that my NBN will get disconnected if I don't speak with a consultant. Definitely a scam as I don't have NBN or even internet in my own name.

Scam claiming to be Telstra. Saying my Internet line is going to be terminated today. Press 1 to speak to 'Telstra'

Of course I wanted to waste their time so I pressed one. A woman with a heavy accent answered with just 'Hello?'

I asked if this was Telstra and she paused and then said...Yes. I explained why I had pressed 1 and she asked if I knew why my internet was being disconnected, I said no, that's what I want to know, she hung up.

Everyone here saying the scammers are calling from CentreLink. I wonder if they changed the scam but didn't inform the workers lol.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be Amazon Prime

Called saying they were Amazon prime, saying I had an account with them (I do not), then said they were going to charge $79.99 to my account etc. then hung up when I called them out on their B.S.

Tried to call the number back.....it doesn't ring it just automatically hangs up.

Scam claiming to be webdesk, after some information about the business...

Claim himself to be DHL
Said I have sent a package one month ago, actually I didn't send any packages this year. Must be scams

Scam call - recorded message about backpayments and that I won't receive them. But since I don't anyway, it's definitely a scam call.

Been getting calls from this number. Saying I am underpaid, why I have 2 blue cards. I have been sent letters, call this number, press 1.
Mistakenly gave my information, not all of it.
Then tried to blame postal service, then abruptly hung up when I said I was going to Centrelink .

Recorded messaged saying from Centrelink. something about back payments and to ring Centrelink head office Canberra. hung up

Caller: No one spoke from the caller

Recent phone calls (03) 8799 2150

12:30 noon 4th Dec 2020

Even though I answered it = No One talked back from the caller
afterwards got a message saying
You missed a call from +290 9917730
who said "By Centre Link. We have sent notification letters to you"

Glad i had the real ph number in my recent
so Now I know its a scam
