I NEVER tick or opt in to market research so this is a SCAM CALL. Claiming they are exempt does not apply when I never opt in to this sort of research.

They said they are from wellness initiative wanting to survey people over 50. It could be trying to find out where more vulnerable aged people are. Like all cold callers I fed them a load of misinformation and the caller seemed surprised by my answers so guess they have been given some information prior to the call.

It’s a survey for Westpac...

We recently took out a home loan and our banker let us know that we will receive a call to complete a survey based on the customer experience... not a scam, it’s legit. So yes they know some details to be able to conduct their survey... people need to calm down

Hi guys, I checked, TKW Research has been commissioned by WESTPAC to conduct"what they said is, an independent evaluation. My banker called it NPS. They have permission from Westpac, they don't have any financial details, and all responses are kept strictly with Westpac. Just checked directly with your banker. The companies that do it are watermelon and tkw research :)

I got a voicemail for my bank research department

St George bank. Got a car loan from then and then they got them to call me. They ask you the same question as asked when getting your loan.

Sat 21 Nov 2020 Didn't know this number so I didn't answer - this last week I've had Westpac & Bendigo Bank Phishing including 2 official looking letters Posted to my PO BOX so have emptied accounts & gone elsewhere. All problems started just days after opening a bank account with Westpac - suspect they've been hacked. *Must empty your Trash Bin After Deleting Scam Numbers or they can keep on ringing you.

They knew who we banked with, didn't know our last name.
We told them we didn't want to give out any personal information, their first question was "what is your email"
That's when we ended the call

wanted to know very personal information was very nosey can believe theses people how did they get my number and I did not give permission for anyone to release my details.

Caller: Market Research / Feedback

Picked up call and lady mentioned she was conducting a feedback survey about a recent application I made with my bank. Seems more legit than regular spam calls.

2 calls from this number. First call missed, no message left. Second call I answered and whoever it was hung up without saying anything!

Hi all received call from number this afternoon guy knew my first and last name said he was from westpac bank and could he ask me a few questions I recently opened a savings account with then 2weeks ago what are you going to call every customer who opens a bank account told him he got me a a bad time and I hung up .Be wary of them 😙
