Called and hung up not leaving a message

I am being bombarded by calls from (03) 8751 8522. Have tried blocking the number but they still get through so I suspect they may be listed as a charity. Very annoying as they never leave a message and if I pick up the phone they hang up. Time our Telcos here in Australia stopped these people if they are not legitimate or ringing late at night. They should be doing more to stop them being allocated a telephone number if they are scammers or are pestering people like this.

Calls every couple of hours. I never answer and no message left.

No message, call for a few seconds then hang up, sometimes I’ve answered and they hang up straight away

This company has called me three times in the past two days, leaving no message. I phoned them back (withholding my number), worked out they were a telemarketing company and blocked their number. I received a phone call from ' no number' today and it was the same telemarketing company. I believe this goes against, at least, their company policy if not relevant laws prohibiting them from withholding their number to ensure there phone call goes through when I clearly do not want to be contacted by them. Am I wrong? is there a relevant body I can report this to?

Called me twice today. First time hung me up after I answered. 2nd time called at 7 30pm and it was obviously some sort of telemarketing. Asked them to take me off the list but pretty sure they won't do that. So will have to block their number to stop this nonsense!!

Called several times a day no message. Called back and there was no answer and there was a strange ring tone
