yep..I just received a call from that number.I told them i was driving they said they would call me back.She said it was about my personal banking..

Have been getting calls from this number for quite a while, I just ignore and turn the phone off. Only on mobile. Don't want to ring it back because as sure as s*^t it is a scummy scammer.

They just called me left no message didnt really get it but thankfully its people like you that open our eyes.

6 calls in the past week - also started after downloading mobile banking app. and only rings my mobile. No one speaks when I answer & when I ring back it is a message from "ANZ Outbound Customer Care" saying they'll ring me back at a more convenient time! Not impressed. Have blocked them from my mobile.

I've been getting at least 2-3 calls / day from this number, just let it ring out.

The must get the number somehow via the ANZ mobile app, as the number they call me on is only used for data and was used for registering the app and nothing else.

For two weeks now this number is incessantly calling. Called ANZ not their number.

Rang my mobile today too. I closed all my ANZ accounts over 6 months ago...

Guy saying he was from ANZ - had new products to offer me and that he would make an appointment for me to visit my local ANZ branch. I asked which would be my nearest branch he said something like - "I would have to confirm your details first so that I could disclose that to you". Yeah sure - has tried call back 3 times since 2nd October 2014.

(03) 8693 5488 this number keeps calling I told him I wasn't interested and was busy now every day I get a call I just ignore it. He sounded Australian though nit indian

Yep, got one from this number today. 'General' questions, with the hope I'm the sort of person who willingly blurts out the important stuff, I reckon.

I have missed several calls from this number over the past week also. I just rang ANZ and was told that the number DID NOT match any of the numbers from their departments. I was also told that if someone from ANZ did ring, they would ask for a password/passcode, not all your personal details.

This is a scam, rang ANZ and they do not call saying they are doing a survey and ask for your personal details. Appears as a local number but is an overseas call.

Just had this number (03) 8693 5488 ring me on my mobile but when i answered they just hung up !

Definitely a scam we do not bank anz. I just called it a voice over said they will reschedule the call for more suitable time.

Someone (sounds like an Indian accent) rang my mobile phone saying this was a courtesy call from ANZ Bank asking my feedback of their services. However, before I provide any feedback, he started asking me all the important personal information like my ANZ client number, my full name, my date of birth, my address... If this was just a courtesy call from ANZ bank, they should have known my details already, why they wanted to verify my personal information again? The number appeared on my mobile phone was (03) 8693 5488.

I have been getting calls from this number all week and also (03) 8693 0000. I have blocked these numbers, then they use another one, but it's the same people. ANZ call centre.
