Caller: (03) 8693 5488 I let it go to voicemail but the person didn't leave a message. I cannot envisage anyone would want to call me from a Melbourne landline.

Caller: ANZ scam Indian sounding man called claiming to be from ANZ. Asked me about a letter. I hadn't got any letters from ANZ lately. He was vague about details of the letter and continued to push me to go through their identity process.
If this is ANZ then they really don't know their customer base. No-one wants or needs calls from their bank unless there is a problem.

The male with an Indian accent said he was from the ANZ and wanted to talk to me about a letter that had been sent out to me last week - I said I didn't get a letter, then he said so that I can talk to you about that letter I just need to confirm your details. At that point I said this sounds like a scam and hung up.

Doubt this is a legit number. Had a few missed calls from this number and others that varied in last digit is. One actually left a voicemail of a lady singing a cold play song. Pretty sure ANZ wouldn't do that haha

Should report the ANZ to ACA or Today Tonight, this will surely stop them. I have had many calls over the past weeks which annoys the crap out of me. End up calling up ANZ to complain and blocking the number on my phone.

I recieved a phone call from this number and the person identifed as Jeffrey stated he was from ANZ bank and kept trying to have me say the word yes to his question that I agree to them using this phone call, which I had refused. After many attempts to have him state what he wanted without success I told him to F--- Off and hung up.
