I have also had this number call me several times in the past week for me to ignore it every time until today. I answered and they asked if I was a particular person (unable to pronounce name given), then simple said sorry and hung up. I'm unsure of the purpose for that call, but if they continue to do so I'm not going to be happy.

I have repeatedly missed calls from this number and found this thread after I googled the number.

I actually AM an ANZ customer so called ANZ directly to verify whether or not this is their number. They have NO record or knowledge of this number and the customer service guy I spoke to said that all outbound ANZ callers are required to leave a message for you.

I've just hung up from the ANZ. I called them to see if this number is legitimate. Apparently it is and is usually do to with promotions or surveys on customer satisfaction. I suggested to pass on feedback that many people aren't aware of this and feel that they are being harassed which surely isn't helping with customer satisfaction. To stop calls from them you need to contact the ANZ and ask that your number be taken off their promotions call list.

I get calls also, at least 2 a day. I have put it in my Call Filter App on my phone so it gets rejected immediately.

I have just received a call from this number today at 5.30 pm and it appears that the number is Australian number. A lady sounds Asian, has spoken to me and says that she is calling for ANZ bank . I have asked her name and she says that her name is "Cassy". She speaks poor English. I have also asked her which branch of ANZ , she says from Manila. I have told her that I cannot understand her English. She keeps saying that she wanted to schedule a meeting with me soon to discuss some account matters I don't know how she got my full name and mobile number. She doesn't want to listen to me at all. So that I was bit hard on her and say if you call me again I will call the police. Thanks for all these posted comments. we should do something for this.

call it back. Its legit. It is an ANZ number.

Got a call from this number today. Hung up before they started talking. IF we are all linked by a common bank database, ANZ has somehow had a data breach.

This number has been annoying me on and off for a while now. I have written to the ANZ on their Twitter to get them to remove my number from their call list or I will consider closing my bank account. Next step will be to write to the CEO Mike Smith's Twitter account. This is not on.

I have received the call twice in a month, they said that calling from ANZ bank, I said: "the bank never call me, you are very suspicious and I need your full name", the man just hung up.

ANZ outbound customer care. If you don't answer, they automatically schedule a call back.

Have these guys on my blocked list. They never leave a message, so if that is an ANZ policy it's clearly not being followed.

I have just received a call from this number trying to Claim that they are from (ANZ).
They wanted to talk in regards to a Personal Loan, Its 110% a scam, After I got off the phone with the gentleman that I couldn't understand I called ANZ and told them what had happened and they looked on there ANZ List and said that a lot of people have called in regards to this number. He wanted my card details and I turned around and said if your ANZ then you should defiantly have my details and he called me names like you wouldn't believe and hung up.
Please to everyone who reads my comment, dont give out personal information as THIS PHONE NUMBER IS DEFINITELY A SCAM 100%.

Third call from this number and no message left. Annoying!

Just got a call from this number but I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. I called the number back and got an pre-recorded message saying that i may have recently been contacted by the ANZ and that my call is being re-scheduled for a different time and that if i want to contact customer service to ring this 13 number then it hung up.

Yep ANZ calling offering a credit card... unlimet offer... ye, right!

Been getting several calls from this number and another straight after eachother , everyday for over a month now. Calling both in business and out of business hours , not one voicemail left. If it was anz surely they would send a lett or something as well if it were important ? I never had calls like this until I changed over to optus now I'm forever getting calls from random numbers ???

This is legitimately from ANZ call centre in Melbourne they were able to advise on account details after doing identity verification with me

Just saved the number on my phone and named it spam do not answer as I get busy and don't always remember . Now I'll know not to answer it .

Constantly get calls from this number so I googled it and found this site. I do now remember that I have answered it once previously and it was ANZ some promotional thing.
After reading most of the messages on this site - Thank you Toni, I have now blocked this number so it will no longer be a problem.
