Picked up and they hung up

Found them a bit dodgy, trying to pretend they were calling on behalf of Health Dept. block them

Called from (03) 8691 0596 & (03) 8691 0597 I answered they didnt speak and hung up

This is nonsensical! Make it a point to only answer calls from numbers known to you!

call from a hearing organisation telling me I could get a free hearing check....guy was quite rude when I told him "I had it in hand"

Why do they call to hang up? I don't understand!

They call about 3 or 4 times a day even though I block them they just use another number

Caller: "Hello, Dallas?"
Me: "nope. Wrong number. Bye!"
Also me: block number. Report. Done.

Lesson here: Never answer the phone with "Hello, *first name* speaking", so they won't know your name and just block anyone asking for Dallas!

Spam call

They called, I rang back. Got a recorded message ,purporting to be calling from Amazon.
Scam.

Caller: Licened Criminals

Unauthorised licenced criminals having been sold my Private & confidential information without consent.
Same old story.
It seems my phone benefits everyone but me. Time to get rid of it I think.
Another added to blocked list - which now exceeds my whitelist.

Same routine as others on this site. They called me, I answered, they hung up. I have blocked the number.

I too am sick of having my daily life interrupted by cold calling marketers like this. Thought I heard/read recently that this type of direct marketing was to be banned and those who persisted could be heavily fined. Bring it on!!!! And Ampliphon can be added to the list.
Meanwhile I have blocked them too.
