Yep, many calls a day, so I rang back and it is Telco wanting to talk to you about your home internet service, I wouldn't trust it.

Persistent caller, acts like hes your long lost friend and when I asked where he got my number from after he told me he was calling about my internet and phone line, he put the phone down!! Annoying and irritating

keeps on calling me. i answer quite quickly. no voice at the other end. what do they want ??? i have no idea. i have home line with telstra. i believe if a legit call from telstra they would leave a message of some kind to call back.

they rang my work mobile, made out they are giving me unlimited bla bla bla as of next month. I took them for my provider UNTIL they asked for my landline number ????
told them to hissoff.

Telco Talk (http://www.telcotalk.com.au/) trying to sell discounted landline services. Don't seem to care that i'm on the do not call register.

I called back number (03) 8683 5517 someone answered the call said hello and then hanged up.

I just blocked them from my phone there shifty they call on different numbers too

They called on my mobile saying they were from Telstra and that they could reduce my internet and landline costs and to confirm my identity they wanted my landline number. I gave them the last 4 digits, but they said they needed the entire number as it wasn't showing up as a Telstra number. I told them that if they are Telstra then they should know what the entire number is, but they keep saying they needed the full 8 digits to confirm my identity. I HUNG UP.

after blocking them they were still able to call on same number.?

They would not give me a number to call them on but could read my messages.

Annoying as you don't know who it is. Blocked all numbers from interstate as they keep calling with different numbers.
