Switched from Crazy John to Telstra yesterday and the same night I started getting calls from this number.  Again tonight at the same time I got the calls.  They call and hang up and dont leave voicemail.
Could it be Telstra?  I used to have the same thing happen when I was on Vodafone - they had a number that calls all the time.

I've had two calls from this number on my mobile phone. The phone rings, i answer it and then get a silence after they pick up for a few seconds, then they hang up on me. Got another call tonight, except i could hear voices in the background this time before they hung up.

have been getting this number ringing at leastb 3 to 4 times a day and night i refuse to answer the mobile phone. i have caller id so when the number shows up i know not to answer it. but it is really giving me the sh----.

I'm glad i googled it too! I too had a missed call from this number, tried calling it back and no answer, annoying!

have been getting calls from this number for a while and i just let the answering machine pick up. they hang up. then i got sick of it and answered to tell them to stop calling. they still hung up. i called back, and my call gets rejected. wtf. in the past 5 hours they have called 9 times. who are they?

Spoke with a human this evening - from Select TV (based in Gold Coast, Qld but uses an automated dialing service located in Melbourne). Contacted because I was a former customer and business was closing down. Offered me a deal with AUSTAR - needless to say - NO DEAL.
